Dr. Folake Pepple, MBBS, LMCC, MRCGP
Medical DirectorDr. Pepple cares for patients of all ages in the Calgary AB area. She enjoys family medicine, and also focuses on women’s wellness and special interest in skin health with aesthetic medicine.
It is her passion to help patients enjoy healthy, youthful skin with anti-aging treatments. She has received extensive training nationally and internationally in anti-aging treatments such as wrinkle reduction with Botox, dermal fillers, and platelet rich plasma therapy for hair loss and skin rejuvenation. She also administers botulinum toxin for treatment of chronic migraine and hyperhidrosis.
Dr. Pepple is Board-certified in family planning and sexual health. In the area of family planning, she provides a broad range of IUD services.
She has been practicing medicine since 1998. She completed her residency program in family medicine in the UK and holds diplomas in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Family Planning. She moved to Canada in 2008, along with her family.

Dr. Tolu Solola
Family PhysicianDr. Solola is originally from Buckinghamshire, England. With more than 13 years of practice experience, she has a special interest in women’s health. As a woman, she identifies readily and compassionately with female health issues. Dr. Solola has extensive background in gynecology and obstetrics, and her services include:
- Female wellness
- Family planning including IUD insertion and removal
- Prenatal and antenatal care
- Children’s health
- Botulinum injection for treating chronic migraine
Dr. Solola says she was initially attracted to family medicine for the opportunity to build lasting relationships, caring for patients through all phases of their lives.
Dr. Tomasz Karczewski
Family PhysicianHe specializes in family medicine, men’s health, as well as sexual health, mental health, and chronic disease management. Dr. Karczewski said family medicine allows him to take a broader look at a person’s overall health and wellness. “As a family physician, you get a lot of possibilities to help patients in a holistic way and not only treat acute complaints but also prevent chronic illnesses,” he said. Tomasz went to medical school in his native Poland before he moved to the United Kingdom where he received his specialized training. He worked there for 12 years before moving to Canada. He said being a family physician lets him work with his patients through the various stages of their lives. “Over the years you can see the whole family, it’s really nice to see that you can make a difference especially if you listen to your patients,” said Tomasz.
Dr. Angela Melnyk
Family PhysicianDr. Melnyk grew up in a family of physicians and an atmosphere of medicine. She was a doctor in her native country – Ukraine – before attending medical school at University of Calgary to practice in Canada.
She has more than ten years of practice experience, with most in the area of family medicine. She prefers this focus, acting as an advocate for the patient, providing the initial intervention for any kind of medical problem.
Dr. Melnyk is presently adding patients to her wait list, with openings expected in a few months.
Dr. Tomi Solola
Family PhysicianDr. Solola graduated from medical school in 1999, serving as a physician in the UK for 13 years before arriving in Canada in 2013. He is adept in family practice. Dr. Solola takes special interest in pediatrics and internal medicine, putting both child and adult patients at ease. He sees this role as much more than an occupation. He views each consultation as an opportunity to connect with patients as individuals, making a positive difference in their everyday challenges posed by illness.
Dr. Ike Muotoh
Family PhysicianDr. Muotoh has been practicing medicine since 1994. He received training through the London Deanery Postgraduate Vocational Training Scheme. He developed his skills further with experience in emergency medicine at the Accident and Emergency department of St. Georges Hospital in London. At Silverado Medical & Aesthetic Clinic, Dr. Muotoh serves as a family physician. He also works at Airdrie Urgent Care Centre in Airdrie, AB.
Dr. Vanessa Ogbonnaya
Family PhysicianWith a focus on women’s health and early prenatal care, Dr. Vanessa Ogbonnaya is a vital part of the Silverado Medical & Aesthetic Clinic team. She earned a medical degree in 2003, and received training as a general practitioner at Wessex Deanery Postgraduate Vocational Training scheme in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Ron Mayrhofer
Family PhysicianDr. Mayrhofer studied at University of Manitoba and University of British Columbia to obtain the CCFP designation from the College of Family Physicians. As a certified family physician, he has met Canada’s high standards for education and training in medicine.
Beginning in 1980, Dr. Mayrhofer served as an assistant professor at University of Calgary’s Faculty of Medicine and Family Practice, located in South Calgary.
Dr. Rakesh Patel
Family PhysicianDr. Patel is a highly-capable family physician. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary, and as a Board Director for South Anderson Primary Care Association (SAPCA).
In 2002, he qualified as a doctor at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital in London, England. Dr. Patel completed training in family medicine, with distinction. He holds diplomas in:

Following 12 years of service as a medical officer with the Royal Air Force in the UK, he moved his family to settle in Calgary AB in 2015. The doctor is known for his friendly approach, balancing the needs of the patient with a sound basis in medical evidence.

Dr. Deon Vorster
Family PhysicianIn 2000, Dr. Vorster earned a medical degree from University of Pretoria in South Africa. He completed his internship in 2002, and relocated to Canada in 2003.
Since that time, Dr. Vorster has enjoyed practice in the areas of emergency and family medicine. He takes special interest in geriatric medicine, men’s health, and minor surgical procedures.
